OK, fans of the movie A Christmas Story — this event is for you.
The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is hosting a 30th anniversary party for the movie with a fundraising event called Mrs. Parker’s Little Piggy Luncheon at 11 a.m. Nov. 30.
Cast members who are expected to attend are Ian Petrella (Randy), Scott Schwartz (Flick), Zack Ward (Scut Farkus), and Yano Anaya (Toadie).
The luncheon, sponsored by A Christmas Story House & Museum, will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes and red cabbage, just like Mrs. Parker made in the movie.
Entertainment will be provided by Cleveland Play House and Near West Theatre.
Proceeds will benefit A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project, a nonprofit foundation established with Tremont West Development Corp., which provides grants, both public and private, to projects that enhance and preserve the neighborhood surrounding A Christmas Story House & Museum.
Tickets to the luncheon start at $75 and are available at www.AChristmasStoryHouse.com or 216-255-6651.
