Aeros 3, Senators 2: Carlos Moncrief hits walk-off single in 15th, longest game of season
It took 15 innings, but Aeros right fielder Carlos Moncrief put an end to the longest game of the season with a bases loaded walk off single up the middle to hand the patient Aeros a 3-2 victory.
Senators right fielder Steven Souza Jr. wiped out an early Aeros one-run lead with a two-run home run in the seventh inning. But Aeros first baseman Jesus Aguilar sent the game into extra innings with a solo homer in the ninth.

The Aeros didn’t really need the help of a major leaguer Wednesday night in their 6-3 victory over visiting Harrisburg at Canal Park, but they sure didn’t mind having Indians rehabbing catcher Lou Marson along for the ride.

Harrisburg buries Aeros after rough strart by right-hander Robert Whitenack
A rough night for Aeros starting pitcher Robert Whitenack dug a hole too deep for the offense to dig out of. In just four innings of work, the right-hander dished up seven runs on eight walks, two wild pitches and four hits (including a three-run home run). Of the 84 pitches he threw, only 37 were strikes.

Baysox top Aeros 4-3 in 12 innings
The visiting Bowie Baysox topped the Aeros 4-3 Monday night at Canal Park, but needed 12 innings to put the game in the books after the host rallied for a pair of game-tying runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to extend the action.
