Baysox top Aeros 4-3 in 12 innings

The visiting Bowie Baysox topped the Aeros 4-3 Monday night at Canal Park, but needed 12 innings to put the game in the books after the host rallied for a pair of game-tying runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to extend the action.

The Aeros helped raised $30,000 for the Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis, a non-profit treatment facility located in Uniontown. Aeros players wore specially-made “Orange Out” t-shirts during batting practice Saturday that were auctioned off to help support MS awareness. At Sunday’s game, the orange t-shirts were all over the stands, especially amid the large contingent from the Oak Clinic.

Packer's 1st win of season leads Aeros to 4-2 victory & avoides sweep by Erie

It’s taken a month, but Aeros left-handed pitcher Matt Packer finally earned his first win of the season Wednesday, helping lead the Aeros to a 4-2 victory over Erie Wednesday afternoon in front of a season-high 6,994 mostly shreiking fans during the team’s first “Education Day” 10:35 a.m. start.
