Pino added to Aeros Opening Day roster
The Aeros announced today that pitcher Yohan Pino has been added to the roster and that infielder Kyle Bellows has been transferred from Double-A to Single-A Mahoning Valley.
The transaction brings the Aeros 2011 Opening Day roster to what appears below:
Pitchers: Austin Adams, Scott Barnes, Eric Berger, Cory Burns, Kelvin De La Cruz, Joe Gardner, Connor Graham, Nick Hagadone, Matt Langwell, Chen-Chang Lee, Matt Packer, Bryan Price and Joe Smith.
Catchers: Juan Apodaca and Chun Chen.
Infielders: Cristo Arnal, Kyle Bellows, Dan DeGeorge, Juan Diaz, Matt Lawson and Karexon Sanchez.
Outfielders: John Drennen, Tim Fedroff, Jordan Henry, Matt McBride, Grady Sizemore and Donnie Webb.
The Aeros host the Binghamton Mets at Canal Park tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. A fireworks show is set for after the game.
Note: Grady Sizemore and Joe Smith are with the Akron Aeros to begin a Major League Rehabilitation Assignment from the Cleveland Indians.
