The Aeros rode their pitching staff to a doubleheader sweep of Erie Tuesday at Canal Park, the hurlers combining to hold the SeaWolves to one run over 14 innings.

The Aeros won the first seven-inning game 1-0, as starter and LHP T.J. House tossed a two-hit shutout over six innings to earn the win, striking out seven and walking two. Aeros C Roberto Perez drove in the lone run with a fourth-inning sacrifice fly.

In the second game, the Aeros bullpen handled all seven innings, with RHP Rob Bryson earning the win. The Aeros needed only one inning to cruise to the win, posting a four-run first inning that featured a two-run double by Jared Goedert and a two-run triple by Davis Stoneburner.

The Aeros and SeaWolves will be back at Canal Park bright and early Wednesday for a 10:35 a.m. contest. Akron LHP Giovanni Soto (3-0, 3.33 ERA) is slated to face Erie LHP Ramon Garcia (0-2, 10.64 ERA).
