The Akron Aeros begin a weekend set 7:05 p.m. tonight against the Portland Sea Dogs at Canal Park. Here are the starting lineups….

Starting Pitcher: Right-hander Chris Balcom-Miller

NOTES: The Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, enter the weekend series losers of six of their last seven games. Balcom-Miller (1-2, 2.84 ERA), a former sixth round pick in 2009 by the Colorado Rockies, has pitched well in his three starts with Portland. He has struck out 12 in 12 2/3 innings, walking three. Balcom-Miller was acquired for major league reliever Manny Delcarmen and cash considerations in August of 2010….Rightfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang has reached base safely in 20 consecutive games and leads the Eastern League with a .651 slugging percentage…

Cleveland Indians designated hitter Travis Hafner (oblique) was recalled by the Cleveland Indians Friday after playing in two games with the Aeros. He finished his rehabilitation stint going 3-for-6 with a double, two runs scored, a walk and a strikeout….Austin Adams is fifth in the Eastern League in strikeouts per nine innings (10.17) and 15th in ERA (3.17)…Nick Weglarz hit his first two home runs of the season yesterday.
