Aeros Pregame Notes for Friday

The Aeros returned home Friday to Canal Park from a seven-game road trip. They will host the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) during the three-game home stand before hitting the road again Monday for another seven-game road trip.

WELCOME ABOARD - Indians RHP Carlos Carrasco is schduled to make a rehab start with the Aeros Friday. With the Tribe he is 1-1 with a 4.97 ERA in five starts.

MORE ON CARRASCO - Carrasco owned a 2-6 record with 5.51 ERA in 12 major league starts over parts of the last two seasons. He made his big league debut on Sept. 1, 2009 against the Texas Rangers and has spent parts of the past two seasons with the Indians...He is already the fourth Indian to make a Major League rehab assignment with Akron, joining OF Grady Sizemore, RHP Joe Smith and 3B Jason Donald.

TONIGHT'S PITCHING MATCHUP - Carrasco is slated to face Trenton LHP Shaeffer Hill, who is 2-2 with a 2.93 ERA. Aeros LHP Kelvin De La Cruz, who was originally scheduled to start, will follow Carrasco in relief.

BASE THIEF - Aeros OF Jordan Henry had five of his 10 stolen bases on the recently-completed road trip to Binghamton and Altoona. Henry's 10 stolen bases are tied for third most in the Eastern League.
