Aeros rally with six-run eighth inning to top Bowie

Key Situation: After being shut out for five innings and facing an early 5-0 deficit, the Aeros offense awoke from its slumber to score 10 runs in four innings - including six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the game 9-9...Aeros RF Donnie Webb provided the game-winning run with his walk-off RBI single that scored 1B/C Matt McBride.

Quick Hits: Aeros pitchers combined to dish up a season-high 11 extra-base hits, including seven doubles and three home runs…3B Kyle Bellows and Webb contributed three hits a piece.  

Next Game: The Aeros host Bowie (Baltimore Orioles) in the second game of this three-game series beginning tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park...Akron RHP Austin Adams (5-7, 4.02 ERA) is scheduled to start for the host and face Baysox LHP Rick Zagone (2-6, 4.95 ERA).
