 The Aeros are playing the second of a three-game set with Bowie tonight at Canal Park. Akron took the first game 6-3 behind Ryan Rohlinger's three-run home run to right field last night.

Notes: McFarland's 0.82 ERA is tied for the Eastern League's best with at least 11 innings pitched this season. Centerfielder Tim Fedroff is 7th in the league in batting average (.375) and 2nd in on-base percentage (.524). He's also reached base in all nine games he's played in this season.
