Beau Mills' 2-run homer sparks Aeros to 6-3 win over Erie

The Aeros topped the visiting Erie SeaWolves 6-3 Monday.

Key Situation: DH Beau Mills got the Aeros on the board with a two-run home run in the third inning…Mills was also part of a three-run rally in the fifth inning, as the Aeros used four hits to go up 5-0...Erie broke up the shutout with three runs in the sixth against Aeros starter and RHP Joe Gardner, but he still went on to earn the win.

Quick Hits: SS Juan Diaz and Mills each had three hits, Mills driving in three RBI and scoring two runs…Closer and RHP Cory Burns earned a five-out save for his 25th of the season.

Next Game: The Aeros have the next two days off for the Eastern League All-Star game played Wednesday at New Hampshire…Diaz, Burns and RHP Austin Adams will represent the Aeros…C Chun Chen was also selected, but will not participate as he recovers from a back injury...The Aeros return to action Thursday with a four-game road trip to Harrisburg (Washington Senators). They return home to Canal Park Monday for a quick, three-game home stand versus Altoona (Pittsburgh Pirates).
