Aeros 1B Beau Mills was named the Eastern League Player of the Week for the period of July 11th through July 17th.
The 24-year old batted .632 (12-for-19) with four doubles, three home runs, nine RBI, seven runs scored, three walks and a 1.316 slugging percentage in five games.
Mills, a native of Visalia, Ca., and the Indians No. 1 pick (13th overall) in the 2007 draft, recorded three hits in three of the five games, scoring at least one run in each game while driving in multiple runs three times.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound slugger led all E.L. players in batting average (.632), hits (12), extra-base hits (seven), doubles (four), RBI (nine), on-base percentage (.682), slugging percentage (1.316), OPS (1.998) and total bases (25) last week. He also tied for first in home runs and runs scored.
On the season, Mills is batting .304 with 16 doubles, nine home runs, 44 RBI and 33 runs scored in 57 games.
