Friday's Aeros pregame notes

The Aeros welcome the Richmond Flying Squirrels to Canal Park Friday for a four-game holiday weekend series.

* Before the game, it was announced that former Aeros ace Adam Miller had rejoined the team for the first time since 2006. After being named the Indians minor league Pitcher of the Year. He has  since undergone four surgeries on his right middle finger and missed the last two seasons while sidelined.

Miller began the season at extended spring training. He came to Akron from Class-A Kinston, where he made eight appearances, had a 4.94 ERA and one save. 

To make room on the roster for Miller, RHP Kyle Landis was transferred to Kinston.

* All eyes are are on Aeros OF Tim Fedroff, who is riding a 19-game hitting streak. In the month of May, Fedroff is batting an Eastern League best .422. On the season, he's hitting .373 and is tied for second in hits (57) and is second in on-base percentage  (.423).
