The Akron Aeros are set to host the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:05 tonight at Canal Park in an Eastern League baseball game.
Shortstop Francisco Lindor, a Cleveland Indians top prospect, is scheduled to bat first in the Aeros batting order for manager Edwin Rodriguez.
Lindor is batting .395 in 11 games with the Aeros since being promoted from Class-A Carolina. He has 15 hits in 38 at bats, walked 10 times, scored nine runs, hit one home run, batted in six runs and stole five bases. He also has two doubles, one triple and only one strikeout. His on-base percentage is .531 and his slugging percentage is .579.
Following Lindor in the Aeros batting lineup tonight are: 2B Ronny Rodriguez, LF Cedric Hunter, 1B Jesus Aguilar, RF Carlos Moncrief, CF Tyler Holt, 3B Giovanny Urshela, C Jake Lowery and DH Matt Lawson.
The starting pitching matchup features two right-handers, Will Roberts for the Aeros and Craig Westcott for the Flying Squirrels.
There is a post-game firework show scheduled following tonight's game.
