Changing roster

During the four-game road trip toErie, the Indians organization made a slew of moves effecting the Aeros roster. The hot-hitting Beau Mills (first base) was transferred to Triple-A Columbus, as was second baseman Cristo Arnal. Corner player Matt McBride was sent down from Columbus and infielder Kevin Fontanez was sent up from Single-A Lake County. Right-hander Bryan Price was placed on the disabled list. Right-handers Tyler Sturdevant (Triple-A Columbus) and Bryce Stowell (Single-A Lake County) were added to the roster as well.

On Monday, left-hander Kelvin De la Cruz was placed on the disabled list with an inflammation of the left shoulder. Outfielder Donnie Webb was recalled from triple-A Columbus.

Where has De la Cruz been?

The left-hander with quality stuff and struggling control (53 walks in 79 innings) has not pitched since July 5 and was recently knocked out of the rotation when Drew Pomeranz was promoted July 15.

Right now the pitching rotation is: Left-hander Matt Packer, left-hander Drew Pomeranz, left-hander T.J. McFarland, right-hander Joe Gardner and right-hander Austin Adams.
