Notes: The Aeros enter Saturday in first place in the Eastern League Western Division, three games ahead of the Harrisburg Senators. The Erie SeaWolves are four-and-a-half games behind Akron and the Flying Squirrels are five-and-a-half. . . . Akron defeated Richmond 16-3 on Friday night with a season high in runs (16) and hits (16). Chun Chen and Kyle Bellows both went 4-for-5 at bat for the Aeros. Chen batted in five runs and Bellows had four RBI following a grand slam home run. . . . The Aeros batted around twice in Friday’s game, scoring five runs in the fourth inning and a season-high seven runs in the eighth inning. . . . Aeros starting pitcher T.J. House tossed a two-hitter over six innings to notch the win. He allowed one run, walked four and struck out five.
