Pitching: Left-hander Robert Carson


Carson, the New York Mets No. 12 rated prospect according to Baseball America, is rangy left-hander with a bit of a powerful repertoire. His fastball ranges from 92-95 and lasts deeper into games. IN his first full professional season, Carson made it to Double A Binghamton last year, but struggled once he got there (1-6, 8.32 ERA in 10 starts)....The B-Mets struck out 15 times in Saturday's contest and lead the Eastern League with 35 strikeouts through three games. Lorenzo Scott struck out four times yesterday. On a positive note, he has four stolen bases on the season... The B-Mets are 8 for 8 in stolen bases.

Grady Sizemore worked out with the team this morning, but will not play in today's game. it isn't likely Indians reliever Joe Smith will pitch either. Indians infielder Jason Donald is expected to play about six innings at third base. he is batting second....Austin Adams will be making his Double-A debut. He split last season between Single A Kinston (12 starts) and Single A Lake County (eight starts). In two professional seasons, Adams has struck out 141 in 149 innings with a 3.08 ERA in 43 games (20 starts)...
