Senators defeat Aeros 5-3 in game with six home runs

Key situation: Leonard Davis hit a two-run home run to center field and Tyler Moore lined a solo home run to left-center field in the fifth inning Wednesday to lead the visiting Harrisburg Senators to a 5-3 victory over the Aeros at Canal Park in front of 3,811 fans.

Quick hits: Senators right-hander Tanner Roark got the win, lefty Pat McCoy notched a hold and righty Hassan Pena recorded the save. . . . Derek Norris smacked a home run to left-center field in the first for the Senators. . . . Three Aeros hit solo home runs over the right field fence to make it 3-1. Juan Diaz and Raul Padron homered in the second, and Ben Copeland homered in the third. . . . Senators Josh Johnson scored on an error in the seventh. . . . Aeros lefty T.J. McFarland took the loss. . . . Senators outfielder Bryce Harper did not play Wednesday. He was the No. 1 pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft by the Washington Nationals.
