I'm no expert in international protocol, so maybe someone can explain this to me:
The Queen of England, our greatest ally, gets a little nod from Obama, but the Saudi Arabian monarch, who heads a repressive and radical regime, gets a deep submissive bow (notice that the Saudi didn't return the gesture). Former President Bush was criticized for holding hands with the Saudi king (a show of friendship), but I'd say Obama's gesture goes quite a bit further.
With Obama caving to Russia and the EU, and apologizing to Europe for America, maybe submission is the new American foreign policy.
