Politics is usually accompanied by a massive amount of...how can I put it nicely ?...um, bull excrement, but during presidential election years the excrement becomes so much deeper. This year is no different. I find myself exhausted by the nonstop stream of excrement being hurled at us by the politicos. I've already tuned out the political ads on television, and the incessant political ads running during commercial breaks at NBC's London Olympics coverage is flat out beginning to piss me off. There's something about Gabby Douglas, Missy Franklin, or Michael Phelps winning a gold meda for the USA, only to be immediately followed up by some lying political hack slinging his lying political hackery, that just feels wrong. It tarnishes the moment, and the lying political hacks should know better. Not everything is about them. I would be quite happy to experience at least one Olympic commercial break without seeing Obama's face, and hearing his voice tell me for the umpteenth time that he's all about guaranteeing a better future for the middle class by "investing" in everything under the sun and raising taxes on the rich. We get it already, Mr. President. We got it the first ten thousand times you said it. At least try to find something new to say. It's like your speech writers ran out of material four years ago. Your "failed policies of the past" material is getting really stale, especiallly since you've been in office for 3 1/2 years now. The failed policies of the present are seeming slightyly more important these days.
Speaking of bull excrement, Senate Majority Liar Harry Reid (D-NV) said he heard from numerous super-secret sources that Republican nominee Mitt Romney didn't pay any income taxes for ten years straight. It's interesting that Reid picked ten years as the time period Romney allegedly didn't pay taxes, because the Democrats are calling for Romney to release ten years of back tax records. What a coincidence. When Reid was asked for proof of his allegations, he responded, “I don’t think the burden should be on me.“The burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes.". See how that works ? First, Reid makes an allegation he won't back up, and then he calls on Romney to prove it isn't true. That reminds me, I've heard from several unnamed sources that Harry Reid is a pedophile who robs church poor boxes and beats his wife. I can't prove any of this, of course, but the burden is on Reid to prove he didn't do it.
How ironic isi it that the left-wing protests and boycotts of Chck-Fil-A resulted in unprecedented sales for Chick-Fil-A ? I drove by a local location on wednesday, and the place was packed, busier than I've ever seen it. Nice going, lefties. Maybe we should get these wingnuts to protest all our businesses. Then maybe the economy will bounce back and the unemployment probelm will be solved, lol.
I was over by Akron University when Obama's motorcade left town wednesday afternoon, following the President's campaign stop here. You'll never hear this from the media, but when the motorcade drove by, severaI people who were randomly walking down the street fipped Obama off. I would never do such a thing myself, but I saw it happen. I imagine the mainstream media would spin this into Obama fans signaling their hero he was "number one" with them, or else they'd blame it on the Tea Party. In related news, there's no word from the media on how their search for the gun nut Tea Partier who shot Rep. Gabby Giffords is going (the trail went cold at Palin's crosshairs map), though ABC's Brian Ross did point out on the air that there was a Tea Partier named James Holmes in the Colorado area after a guy named James Holmes shot a bunch of people during an airing of the new Batman movie. The Tea Partier was a completely different James Holmes than the shooter, but how could ABC be bothered to check something THAT good, you know ??? All the news that's fit to air, even if it isn't news.
On the statistics front, the unemployment rate ticked back up to 8.3% after 163,000 jobs were added in July. That's 29 straight months of job increases to Obama supporters, and 42 straight months of unemployment above 8% to Obama detractors. To me, it's 5 million fewer jobs than we had before the recession started despite $5.4 trillion in new debt added under Obama's leadership. Our debt is now 104% of GDP, and the federal debt should exceed $16 trillion by the end of this month. In my opinion, that doesn't exactly scream out "four more years !!!".
I have a brand new Romney scandal to report. Boston.com has uncovered earthshaking dirt on Romney. his report card from when Romney was a high school freshman. Remove all children from the room before you hear what I'm about to tell you, lest their faith in America be shaken to the bone. It seems that when Mitt the freshie took Art 3, his teacher wrote that although Mitt had "real ability in painting,” he was “not as industrious or as responsible as he might be.” OMG !!! Thank goodness we discovered this now. To think, we might actually have elected this guy President !!! To make matters worse, Romney only received a grade of C in French I. How will he be able to pursue foreign policy ? Better we find these things out now about Mitt, before we make the huge mistake of putting this non-industrious, monolinguistic boy in charge. Compare this with Obama's school grades...oh wait, we can't. Obama's school records must be in a safe at the bottom of the ocean, because no media outlet has ever been able to disocver them. Funny how that works out, eh ?
