How can Libtards be for social freedom, but against economic freedom ? This has never made much sense to me, because these two freedoms are intertwined. They are two sides of the same liberty coin. They are inseparable, yet Libtards can't see it.To read more or comment...
The picture above doesn't really pertain to today's topic, but I thought I'd post it anyway, because it cracks me up.
A third Democrat-appointed judge in a row has declared ObamaCare to be constitutional. The latest ruling comes from a D.C. judge, Gladys Kessler, appointed by President Clinton. Here is some of the "logic" from that judge:
Liberals dishonestly condemned the protesters of the Tea Party movement as racist, fascist, extremists bent on violence. There was no violence by those protesters. They were peaceful, and they weren't racist or fascist either, but liberals found a few signs in the crowd that sounded kind of extreme. They used those signs to endlessly condemn the entire movement. To read more or comment...
If you want to know why it's so difficult to reign in government spending, look no further than Wisconsin. That state faces a $3.6 billion budget deficit over two years, and to help balance the budget, Wisconsin's Republican Governor Scott Walker is trying to pass legislation that asks public employees to contribute a small portion to their own pensions and health care insurance. Here are some of the key points of the legislation, according to the Daily Caller:To read more or comment...
Newly elected Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) took office facing an $8 billion state budget shortage. In addition to winning the governorship, Republicans also won lots of seats in Wisconsin's state legislature during last fall's elections, giving the GOP effective control of state government. That's the way democracy goes, somebody wins and somebody loses.
In order to close the budget gap, Walker and his fellow Republicans brought a budget repair bill forward for a vote in the Wisconsin Senate. That bill required public employee union members to contribute to their own healthcare and pensions, just like most private sector employees do. It also ended most of the collective bargaining rights of public employees. It allowed the state to decide the salaries the state should pay it's union workers, like the government does with it's non-union employees, and like about 90% of the companies in America do.To read more or comment...
Our great leaders address the pressing problems of their times. That's what George Washington did. So did Abraham Lincoln, FDR, Truman, JFK, and Reagan. Taking on their responsibilities is what made these leaders great. To read more or comment...

No, I'm not talking about Obama's pre-Super Bowl interview with Bill O'Reilly of Fox News. I'm talking about Obama's speech before the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce on monday. The liberal and publicly-financed NPR billed it as 'Obama Faces The Opposition In Speech To Chamber Of Commerce'. NPR points out that the Chamber Of Commerce spent $50 million to help Republicans win elections last november (and now you know why liberals were so upset about the Citizens United ruling, which upheld political free speech in this country. Liberals don't want groups opposed to the liberal agenda to have free speech. Liberals only support the U.S. Constitution when it helps liberals. The rest of the time they consider it an irrelevant and musty old document that only radical wingnuts embrace).
Let's stop for a minute and ask ourselves...what does it say about a U.S. President when the Chamber Of Commerce, who represents U.S. business interests, is considered the "opposition" to said President ? What would such a President be opposed to - jobs, wealth, economic growth, or what ? (Note to liberals - businesses create jobs and wealth, not the government). President Obama has learned what happens when a President is considered anti-business. Over 80% of the candidates endorsed by the Chamber Of Commerce over the last several elections have won.To read more or comment...

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has been in Congress for 29 years. He has a degree from Harvard Law School. You'd think Schumer might have some idea about how our government works. You'd be wrong. Here's Chucky, who never met a camera or microphone he didn't like, opining on our three branches of government:To read more or comment...
