Bridgestone Invitational Golf Tournament

Bridgestone play to resume at noon; final group off at 3:20 p.m.

Play in the final round of the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational was suspended at 10:44 a.m., one minute before defending champion Tiger Woods was scheduled to tee off.

Water was beginning to puddle on Firestone Country Club's South Course due to steady rain.

At 11:02 a.m., players were brought back to the clubhouse so work could be done to the course.

The PGA Tour announced that play will resume at noon.

The first twosome, Kevin Streelman and Tano Goya, were through 14 holes when paly was halted. They teed off at 8:05 a.m.

New pairings have the final group of Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy teeing off at 3:20 p.m.
