Bridgestone Invitational Golf Tournament

Tiger, Phil missing the mark

By Jonas Published: August 6, 2011

Tiger Woods has been golfing since 7 a.m. this morning.

The Fairways are yet to notice.

Through seven holes, Woods had yet to hit one. Although, he did just birdie at nine to move to even for the tournament (1-over today).

Phil Mickelson hasn’t done much better, finding two of seven fairways. Mickelson birdied on 14 and is even for the tournament too.

Jason Day just eagled on two to take over atop the leader board at 9-under. He has played just two holes.

Luke Donald and Zach Johnson both look to be movers on day three. Both are shooting 3-under for the day. Donald is through six holes and is 6-under on the tourney. Johnson has played seven holes and is 5-under on the tournament.

Look for more coverage of the tournament in the Beacon Journal in the morning, on, on this blog and on Twitter @RonLedgard @MarlaRidenour @JasonLloydABJ and @JonasFortune.
