Las Vegas has spoken, and Ohio State's national title hopes are now a long shot.
Following the news of quarterback Braxton Miller's injury on Monday, oddsmakers at Bovada dropped Ohio State from 12/1 odds to 18/1.
After ESPN reported that Miller will miss the season, the odds fell to 50/1.
As a comparison, defending champion Florida State is at 5/1. Michigan State and Wisconsin have the best odds among Big Ten teams at 35/1.
