Ohio State added another player to its 2015 basketball recruiting class.
According to several online reports, OSU received a commitment from Texas forward Mickey Mitchell. He is the younger brother of Buckeyes freshman linebacker Mike Mitchell.
Mickey Mitchell is a two-sport at Prestonwood Christian High School where he was a top quarterback recruit. But for Ohio State, Mitchell is expected to only play basketball.
This year Mitchell will play for Plano West High School following a transfer. In November, he tore his ACL, according to the Plain Dealer.
Mitchell is rated as a 5-star prospect in the 247 Composite rankings. Most recent reports have Mitchell at 6-foot-8 and 245 pounds.
