A year after resignation, Jim Tressel harbors no ill-will toward Ohio State

By Dan Kadar Published: May 30, 2012

One year ago today, Jim Tressel resigned from Ohio State University amid investigation of NCAA violations. His resignation was the start of several months of negative events for OSU.

In July, the team vacated its 2010 season. In September, several Ohio State players were suspended for the start of the football season. In October, it was revealed that several players were overpaid by a booster and they were suspended. In November, Ohio State's football team finished the regular season with a 6-6 record, its lowest amount of wins since 1999.

2012 NBA mock draft roundup: Jared Sullinger projected in the lottery

By Dan Kadar Published: May 22, 2012

The 2012 NBA Draft lottery is coming up on May 30, with the draft following on June 28. Although the draft order hasn't been determined, Ohio State's Jared Sullinger is a popular choice in mock drafts.

The mock from My NBA Draft has Sullinger being selected sixth by the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland may not be an ideal landing spot for Sullinger since the Blazers already have LaMarcus Aldridge at power forward. A two-round mock draft from Draft Express has Sullinger going seventh to the Golden State Warriors. Sullinger's teammate, William Buford gets mocked to the Warriors in the second round.

NBADraft.net is not quite as high on Sullinger. They place him 14th overall to the Houston Rockets. They have Buford coming to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 33rd overall pick.

As CBS Sports points out, Sullinger and Buford will attend the NBA Draft combine on June 7-8 in Chicago.
