Bri'onte Dunn avoids drug charges
Ohio State freshman running back Bri'onte Dunn won't be charged with drug possession following a traffic stop in Alliance on Saturday night.
The Canton Repository reports that Dunn, a GlenOak graduate, will be charged with disorderly conduct, a seat belt violation and a tail light violation. When Dunn and a female passenger were pulled over, marijuana and a pipe were found in the car. That led to an initial charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Dunn's mother, Donna Hatcher, reoortedly told police at the scene of the traffic stop that the "minute amount" of marijuana was in the car before Dunn used it.

Bob Knight to be inducted into Ohio State hall of fame
COLUMBUS: Bob Knight, a sub on the Buckeyes' 1960 NCAA championship team who went on to become one of the most successful college coaches, will be inducted into the Ohio State athletics hall of fame this fall.
He is the first to be inducted for lifetime achievement.

Ohio State adds speedy recruit Taivon Jacobs

According to various reports online today, Ohio State received a verbal commitment from Suitland (Maryland) wide receiver Taivon Jacobs.
Jacobs, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds, is Ohio State's 15th commitment in the 2013 class. Jacobs had offers from most of the top programs in the country and narrowed his choice down to Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio State. HIs brother, Levern Jacobs, is a defensive back at Maryland.

Report: Charges against Jake Stoneburner dropped
According to a report by WSYX (ABC 6, Columbus), criminal charges against Ohio State tight end Jake Stoneburner have been dropped.
Stoneburner, offensive lineman Jack Mewhort and another man were arrsested last month after allegedly fleeing police officers after being caught urinating in public.
