One of the nation's most coveted football recruits has committed to Ohio State.
Inside linebacker Raekwon McMillan, a five-star member of the 2014 recruiting class, gave his commitment to Ohio State today.
This season, as Land Grant Holy Land points out, McMillan had 159 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. He was awarded the High School Butkus Award, given annually to the nation's top linebacker.
McMillan is rated as the 17th best prospect in the nation in the 247 Sports composite rankings. Rivals.com rates McMillan as the 19th best prospect in the nation. Many recruiting websites noted that McMillan had scholarship offers from man of the top programs in the country, including Alabama, Clemson and Southern California.
Ohio State now has 18 commitments in this year's class.
With starting middle linebacker Ryan Shazier contemplating the NFL Draft, McMillan is a nice addition.
