By virtue of winning the Big Ten Tournament, Ohio State earned a No. 2 seed and will play Iona. The game is set for Friday in Dayton, the closest location to Columbus.
Twelfth-seeded Akron plays fifth-seed Virginia Commonwealth, coached by former Zips assistant Shaka Smart on Thursday.
