Ohio State defensive linemen Michael Bennett and Joey Bosa have been tabbed in watch lists for multiple awards.
The Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to the best defensive player in the nation, has 81 players on its watch list including Bennett and Bosa.
Bennett and Bosa are two of the 10 Big Ten players on the watch listt. The Big Ten has the fifth-most players on the watch list. The Pac-12 has the most with 18, followed by the SEC with 16 and the Big 12 with 13 and the ACC with 12.
Buckeyes linebacker James Laurinaitis won the award in 2006.
Both are also on the watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, given annually to the nation's top player on defense in college football.
Bennett is also on the Outland Trophy watch list, given annually to the nation's top interior lineman. The 64-person list features nine playesr from the Big Ten.
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is among those on the Maxwell Award watch list, given each year to the nation's top college football player.
Senior Jeff Heuerman is on the watch list for the John Mackey Award, given to the nation's top tight end.
