Redshirt freshman defensive end Tracy Sprinkle has been dismissed from the Ohio State football team.
Sprinkle was arrested over the weekend and charged with rioting, failure to disperse and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Sprinkle was previously suspended indefinitely by head coach Urban Meyer. Doug Lesmerises of the Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that Sprinkle's status with Ohio State could be revisited depending on what happens with his legal issues.
As Eleven Warriors notes, Sprinkle pleaded not guilty to his charges and was released on $2,000 bond.
