Ohio State forward LaQuinton Ross is going pro, giving up his final season with the Buckeyes.
As a junior, the 6-foot-8 Ross average 15.2 points per game and 5.9 rebounds, leading the Buckeyes in both categories.
“My experience at Ohio State has been incredible,” Ross said in a release. “Coach Matta, my teammates and the staff were amazing to work with on a daily basis. My goal has always been to play at the next level and I believe now is the best time.”
DraftExpress.com, an NBA Draft website, ranks Ross as the No. 63 overall prospect in this year's draft.
The Buckeyes also lost guard Amedeo Della Valle, who withdrew from the school to play professionally in Europe. Ohio State also has to replace guard Aaron Craft.
