In a poll conducted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer with media members, Ohio State was predicted to win the Big Ten.
The Buckeyes received 19 of 29 votes to win the Big Ten. Nine votes went to new East Division foe Michigan State while Nebraska received the final vote.
Obviously, the Buckeyes were chosen to win the East. Wisconsin was narrowly selected to win the West Division over Iowa and Nebraska.
The Plain Dealer has conducted the poll the last four years after the Big Ten stopped conducting it.
