For the fourth straight week, an Ohio State player was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week.
This week, it went to running back Carlos Hyde who ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns against Northwestern. He shared the award with Ameer Abdullah of Nebraska.
Kenny Guiton won the award in the third and fourth weeks of the season. Braxton Miller was given the award for his play against Wisconsin.
Bradley Roby took home Special Teams Player of the Week honors after blocking a punt and recovering it for a score. Defensive end Joey Bosa was named the Freshman of the Week. He had five tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery.
