According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Ohio State assistant coach Chris Jent has a three-year contract offer from the Sacramento Kings.
Jent recently interviewed with the Kings, and the offer is for him to be the team's top assistant.
Jent joined Thad Matta's coaching staff in 2011. Prior to that, Jent was an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Notably, Jent is known for his ability as a shooting instructor. When he was with the Cavs, Jent was LeBron James' personal shooting coach.
In Cleveland, Jent worked with new Kings head coach Michael Malone. Sacramento hired Malone on Sunday.
According to reports, Jent spoke with Florida Golf Coast University about its vacant head coaching job.
