Former Ohio State CB Bradley Roby charged with OVI

According to a report by WBNS 10-TV in Columbus, former Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby was charged with operating a vehile while impaired.

Court documents show that polcie charged Roby on Sunday with OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. He is due in court Friday morning.

Buckeyes, Bearcats kick off at 6 p.m. on Sept. 27

COLUMBUS: The Big Ten Network has announced that Ohio State’s Sept. 27 home game against Cincinnati will kick off at 6 p.m.

It marks a record fourth night game in the 2014 season for the Buckeyes — with seven start times still to be determined. The Bearcats’ game at Ohio Stadium will also mark the first time Ohio State has played three home games at night in a season. Ohio State’s games at home against Virginia Tech on Sept. 6, at Penn State on Oct. 25 and home against Illinois on Nov. 1 will start at 8 p.m.

Ohio State S Jayme Thompson transferring

Backup Ohio State safety Jayme Thompson is transferring from the school.

In news first broke by Justin Rowland of Rivals, Thompson was granted a release from his scholarship.

Lots of new Buckeyes on display in scrimmage

COLUMBUS: Several of the early preseason publications and websites predict Ohio State should have one of the top 10 or 15 teams in the country.

If the Buckeyes live up to that hype, it’ll likely be because of a lot of players who are unknown to even the most rabid fans.
