With three regular season games left to play, Ohio State is one of six undefeated teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
The other teams are Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Fresno State and Northern Illinois.
But how likely are the Buckeyes to go undefeated? According to the Prediction Machine website, there is a 48.4 percent chance Ohio State goes through the Big Ten championship game without a loss.
The site also predicts Ohio State has just a 21.9 percent chance of playing in the BCS National Championship game.
Ohio State was also given little chance if they do make it into the BCS title game. Against Baylor, Ohio State wins a simulated result just 41 percent of the time. It lowers to 31 percent against Florida State and 27 percent against Alabama.
Of course, that's why they play the game on the field, or some such cliched nonsense.
Fresno State and Northern Illinois weren't factored into the BCS title game because, well, neither really has much of a chance of making it.
