Ohio State's band may have a new director, but that's not stopping them from producing buzz-worthy halftime performances.
During the half on Saturday against Cincinnati, the band paid tribute to the Wizard of Oz with an eight-minute performance covering the entire movie. The band transforms from a swirling tornado, the wizard's castle and even a Wicked Witch of the West who charges across the field.

For the third time this season, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett has been named the top freshman in the Big Ten.
Barrett was the co-winner of the week along with Northwestern linebacker Anthony Walker.
In Ohio State's 50-28 win over Cincinnati on Saturday, Barrett completed 26 of 36 passes for 30 yards and four touchdowns. Barrett also ran for 79 yards.
On the season Barrett now has 1,087 yards and 13 touchdowns passing and 205 rushing yards.To read more or comment...
Following Ohio State's 66-0 win against Kent State on Saturday, redshirt freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett was named Big Ten Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week.
Barrett tied an Ohio State record with six touchdown passes against the Golden Flashes. He threw for 312 yards while completing 76.7 percent of his passes.
Ohio State is off this week before playing Cincinnati on Sept. 27.

There isn’t a lot that can be said when one team pounds another to the tune of 66-0, but for the Ohio State Buckeyes the win over Kent State could say a lot after their beat down from Virginia Tech last week:
They needed this win. Even Urban Meyer knew it and admitted as much in his post-game presser. The magic words: “we had to have a game like this.”
But who needed it more: The offense and especially the offensive line that allowed quarterback J.T. Barrett to get pounded on last weekend against the Hokies. They started off a wee bit rocky early against the Golden Flashes, who started the game with a bear defense, but quickly settled down. The result 628 yards of total offense and Barrett tossed six TDs, matching Kenny Guiton’s record from last season.
