Browns CEO Joe Banner announced today that Bon Jovi will perform during a “Fan Kickoff Concert” July 14 at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Michael Stanley and the Resonators will open for Bon Jovi.

“We are elated that Bon Jovi has chosen to make Cleveland a part of this exciting and successful tour,” Banner said in a news release. “This will be great for the city’s visibility and is an indication that it is fast becoming a destination spot for large-scale events such as this one. We believe that FirstEnergy Stadium will be a tremendous host for an event of this magnitude, and we look forward to having more in the future as part of our business model.”

“We feel as though this exhibits Bon Jovi’s passion for the city and the city’s passion for the group,” Browns President Alec Scheiner said in the release. “Being able to facilitate an event like this shows the commitment we have made to our fans and all residents of Northeast Ohio.  We can’t think of any better way to spend a summer night than at FirstEnergy Stadium for an event that is sure to be a thrill for everyone.”

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. June 3. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster retail outlets throughout metro Cleveland as well as the FirstEnergy Stadium ticket office. Tickets will also be available online at and by phone at 800-745-3000.
