Browns arrive in Indianapolis after bizarre delay
The Browns have arrived in Indianapolis this evening after their flight out of Cleveland Hopkins Airport was delayed for a few hours. They're scheduled to face the Colts at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Wide receiver Josh Cribbs chronicled the odd start to the Browns' first road trip of the 2011 regular season through Twitter. Per Cribbs, the team's plane was stuck in mud as it tried to maneuver on the runway. After the plane was pulled out of the mud, the team switched to another plane and eventually took off. The trip ended on a high note when a group of Browns fans greeted the players as they arrived at their hotel.
Of course, the Browns (0-1) won't mind the hassle of a stressful trip if they can defeat the Colts (0-1).
