The Browns have claimed offensive linemen Ryan Seymour and Caylin Hauptmann off waivers Sunday from the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, respectively, according to reports.
NFL Network reported the claiming of Seymour and USA Today reported the claiming of Hauptmann. The Browns have yet to announce the moves.
Neither lineman has played in an NFL regular-season game. Both players were waived Saturday.
The Seahawks drafted Seymour in the seventh round of last year's draft out of Vanderbilt. The 49ers signed Seymour off the Seahawks' practice squad in December.
The 6-foot-4, 301-pound Seymour, 24, was listed as a guard by the Seahawks and 49ers.
The Browns signed Hauptmann last year as an undrafted free agent from Florida International. The Seahawks signed him off the Browns' practice squad on Sept. 23.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound Hauptmann, 23, was listed as a tackle by the Seahawks.
