Browns coach Eric Mangini wants to repair relationship with Bill Belichick

By Nate Ulrich Published: July 20, 2010

Browns coach Eric Mangini, pictured above right, told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that he's open to repairing his relationship with his former mentor, Bill Belichick.

Mangini on his relationship with Belichick: "He and I haven't really talked. When I talk about him, he was my mentor. He taught me everything, and I respect him tremendously. That's not bull. That's how I feel. I hope at some point, we'll be able to sit down and talk about things and get back to a better relationship. It's not there right now, but at some point things have a tendency to roll back."

Belichick and his Patriots are scheduled to play the Browns at 1 p.m. Nov. 7 in Cleveland.
