Browns defensive back Gerard Lawson was reportedly arrested and charged with driving under the influence Saturday night in Cleveland's Warehouse District.
Lawson, 25, played for the White team Saturday afternoon in the Browns' intrasquad scrimmage at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Brown team defeated the White team 14-6, meaning players from the Brown team had their curfews lifted Saturday night. Lawson was still under the team's curfew because his team lost.
Lawson is a third-year pro who played at Oregon State University. On May 1, 2008, the Browns signed him as an undrafted free agent. Last season, he played in five games on special teams and was inactive for 11 games.
