Browns linebacker Scott Fujita is one of the 13 members of the NFL Players Association's executive committee who voted earlier today to approve a new labor deal.

Fujita, pictured to the left with NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith, expressed his relief in the following e-mail:

"I'm just glad it's over," Fujita wrote. "It feels like a weight has been lifted. I've spent countless hours this offseason away from my family, working toward this agreement. To say I'm tired would be an understatement.

"I just want to move past this and enjoy these last few days with my wife and kids before I leave for training camp. It'll be nice to join my teammates in Cleveland and get back to business as usual."

The Browns will start training camp on Friday and open it to the public on Sunday, a team spokesman said. A time for Sunday's practice has yet to be set.
