Browns moves: RB Terrance West, 3 others who had conditioning-test issues return to active roster

The Browns put rookie running back Terrance West, offensive tackle Chris Faulk, undrafted rookie defensive lineman Jacobbi McDaniel and guard Jeremiah Warren back on the active roster today after placing them on the non-football injury list Wednesday.

The moves were made after West, Faulk, McDaniel and Warren passed their conditioning tests today.

The NFI designations were related to the players’ conditioning tests, a source familiar with the situation said Wednesday. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation.

West, a third-round pick in this year's draft, wanted everyone to know he's healthy and will be ready for action when the Browns begin their first full-squad practice of training camp Saturday morning.

“I’m healthy, ready to go,” West tweeted Wednesday. “(NO WORRIES) #dawgpound.”

In addition to returning the four players to the active roster, the Browns waived running back Jourdan Brooks and undrafted rookie wide receiver Kenny Shaw.

Eighty-six players are on the roster. A maximum of 90 is allowed.

Defensive end Billy Winn and inside linebacker Tank Carder remain on the NFI list.
