By Nate Ulrich Published: January 8, 2013

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is scheduled to speak at the Canton Regional Chamber’s 99th annual dinner Feb. 7 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

Haslam, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., whose family owns truck-stop empire Pilot Flying J, struck a deal Aug. 2 to buy the Browns from Randy Lerner for about $1 billion. NFL owners unanimously approved the purchase Oct. 16.

Haslam will tell his story of success in the business world during the event in Canton. It will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $88 for chamber members and $98 for non-members. Reservations are required.

Click here to register or call (330) 458-2070. All registration payments must be received in advance, and reservations must be received by Feb. 4. Space is limited.
