The Browns placed tight end Evan Moore on injured reserve, a team spokesman said Wednesday. He is the third Browns player whose season officially came to an end in the past two days.
Moore, pictured right, has been dealing with what he called a muscular issue involving his hip/groin area for the past few weeks. He played in 12 games this season, but he was inactive during the past two weeks.
Moore compiled 16 catches for 322 yards and a touchdown this season. The Browns have not yet announced who will fill his spot on their 53-man roster.
Linebacker Scott Fujita (knee) and cornerback Eric Wright (knee) were placed on IR Tuesday.
