The Browns promoted linebacker Darius Eubanks from their practice squad to the active roster and waived linebacker Brandon Magee, the team announced today.

Eubanks, a 6-foot-2, 222-pound undrafted rookie from Georgia Southern, had spent all season on the Browns’ practice squad. He entered the NFL this year by signing with the Minnesota Vikings, who waived him Aug. 31.

Eubanks started 51 of 52 career games in college. A first-team All-Southern Conference selection in 2012, he started 13 games at safety and compiled 77 tackles. As a junior, he started all 14 games as a linebacker.
