Browns running back Peyton Hillis and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick are finalists to become the cover athlete for the Madden NFL 12 video game, EA SPORTS and ESPN announced today. The winner will be determined by fan voting (click here to vote) and announced at 4 p.m. April 27 on ESPN2's "SportsNation."

One player from each NFL team was entered into a tournament to become the cover athlete. Hillis, seeded 10th in his bracket, has pulled off several upsets to reach the finals.

In the semifinals, he garnered 61 percent of the vote to oust top-seeded Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Seventh-seeded Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, second-seeded Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and sixth-seeded Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles also fell to Hillis.

Through four rounds of voting, Vick has beaten his opponents by an average of 30 percent of the vote. He was the game's cover athlete in 2004.
