Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel has added Snickers to his list of endorsements, ESPN.com reported today.
A company spokesman told the website Manziel is scheduled to appear in its "You're Not You When You're Hungry" campaign. A national TV commercial is set to debut as the NFL season approaches.
Manziel, the 22nd overall pick in this year's NFL Draft who won the Heisman Trophy at Texas A&M in 2012, has already filmed commercials for Nissan in addition to a digital spot for Nike.
Earlier this month, Manziel used Instagram to post a photograph of himself and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III at Nissan's "Heisman House" commercial shoot.
Manziel also starred in a commercial for local dealerships run by the Collection Auto Group. In the ad shot last month at Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Manziel threw a 40-yard pass through the passenger window of a Nissan Altima traveling 25 mph.
The ball apparently hit the driver in the face.
"Manziel made a perfect throw into the car," Collection Auto Group President Bernie Moreno told TMZ.com. "Everybody celebrated except the driver who got out the car with a huge welt on his face."
Manziel is represented by LRMR Management, the marketing firm run by LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter. Manziel has already appeared in a McDonald's commercial with James.
