Browns rookie RB Trent Richardson nominated for two weekly awards for performance vs. Chargers
Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson has been nominated for two awards following his performance Sunday in the team’s 7-6 win over the San Diego Chargers.
After rushing for a career-high 122 yards on 24 carries (5.1 average) and the game’s lone touchdown, Richardson is one of three finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week award and one of five finalists for the Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Week award.
Fans can vote at NFL.com/FedEx and NFL.com/rookies until 3 p.m. Friday to determine the winners.
